I remember the first playlist he ever did for me – after a rush of Mercury Rev, Mogwai, Tindersticks, DJ Hell etc, it closed with ‘This One’s from the Heart’ by Tom Waits and Crystal Gayle and I swear I nearly burst into tears it was such a perfect beautiful way to end it. However, do you get as frustrated as I do when they issue a remastered cd with bonus tracks ruining the flow? I desperately want them to remaster Springsteen’s ‘Nebraska’ but not if it means they throw anything on after ‘Reason to Believe’ that upsets the flow of the cd.
