Another milestone on the journey to a published book happened last week. I got the proofs from the printer, and, hot damn, it looks good. Nearly a year since the process began, it’s a lot of fun to see it all printed out and ready to go.

Plus, it’s listed at the Library of Congress now, which kinda makes me giggle with joy.

Anyway, those of you that are interested in “Atlas, Schmatlas” (in bookshops this autumn, folks) might like to see what the jacket looks like:

At around 2am this morning I realised I’d not got around to doing a mix thingy this month. So, a bit tired and worse for wear, I sat down with my laptop in the kitchen and flicked through iTunes until I found a song I wanted to hear. I did that until I’d listened to about forty minutes worth of music. Those songs are the mix. It’s not as considered and well sequenced as some of the previous mixes, it’s simply a reflection of what I listened to for forty minutes in the early hours of this morning.
