The price of eggs
I was doing a bit of sorting out today; sorting the things that were still in boxes since moving into my new place. I found a bunch of old concert tickets. Here’s the first concert I ever went to (if you discount family trips to see the Spinners – the British folk group not the Detroit soul group – in Lincoln; and Showaddywaddy and the Nolans at the Coliseum in St. Austell). Fourteen quid seemed expensive for a sixteen year old in 1987. Still, also on the bill that day were the Pretenders, the Mission, and the Fall. Tickets used to look so much nicer without the barcode and generic Ticketmaster feel…

That is very nice looking. I like that they warn you not to get ripped
off by inferior goods.
