Museo Nacional de Antropología

with 2 comments

I’ve not done any drawing in a museum since it was required of me to do so on trips with the art college. But damn, it was fun to do it again using the Brushes app. Should you ever be in Mexico City, I highly recommend giving over several hours to the National Anthropology Museum.

  1. I’ve seen you doing these ‘brushes’ paintings for a while, and they’re great! I got an iphone this week and I downloaded the app – I don’t think I’ll ever be bored again :D
It’ll be a while before I get as good as yours, if ever… getting used to finger painting electronically is taking a while, so my early attempts are pretty crude, but hopefully with practice I’ll improve.

So yeah, thanks for inspiring me :)

  2. Emma, I saw your sunset on Twitter this morning, actually. Nice stuff. It take a while to get used to what Brushes can do, but it’s a learning curve that only inspires more playing around. And like you say, boredom disappears when you’ve got this tool in your pocket. I was in a bar waiting for a friend last night and spent my time drawing a mountain.
