Flip Flop Flying

If you follow the baseball site, you’ll have seen a load of these type of drawings before. I have also done a few other non-baseball-y ones here and there, so I collected them all together and put them up on Flip Flop Flyin’. There’s a few of them of well-known Mexicans, a couple of Americans, and I’m kinda getting into doing Canadians at the moment, thus the recent Bieber and now Don Cherry drawings.

I’m doing a fortnightly baseball-themed infographic for the Getting Blanked blog on top Canadian sports Web site, The Score. Forgot to mention it before.

Today, the third one went up: it’s an examination of the baseball caps in Justin Bieber videos.

Something strange happens about one minute and 25 seconds into the video of “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber. One of Justin’s mates’ plain black cap turns, for a few frames, into a Los Angeles Kings cap. Curious.

At the moment, there’s a bunch of posters up around Mexico City for the forthcoming elections. Lots of photographs of smiling people who want your vote. I keep seeing this guy’s poster strapped to lampposts everywhere. A bit of wind and the plastic-y posters bend and distort his face. Anyway, he is Mario Delgado of the Partido de la Revolución Democrática, the main left-wing party. I think he wants to be a senator or something. Click the pic to see it bigger.
