Here’s a drawing I began in the autumn of 2010, soon after I arrived in Mexico City. I’d done the background stuff at that point, I think, and a couple of the people, and the dressed-up skeletons. As is my habit, I left it for a while, did a little here and there, and then over the holidays, really got myself together to get it finished. And now it is. It’s not meant as a definitive drawing of the city and its people; it’s just a foreigner’s view of the place.
