3,346: I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)

without comments

I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me) by Whitney Houston was number one in the UK thirty years ago.

It is, of course, a magnificent piece of work. A teenager at the time, I had decided that Whitney Houston wasn’t my cup of tea. The whole vocal gymnastics thing. But, y’know, you can’t deny this song, eh? It’s ace.

I actually think, though, that it took me until hearing Whitney Joins the JAMs by the Justified Ancient of Mu Mu for me to properly appreciate the original.

A wee bit of artwork
Following on from the drawing of Dynamo fans yesterday, here’s some pixel “art,” some adult entertainment. There’s a reason for this, not just titillation for people who like to squint. I was thinking that I need to practice drawing people in other poses, and people close to each other. This seemed like an obvious place to begin.
