People of a similar age to me will likely remember how incredible the video for Cry by Godley and Creme seemed back in 1985. How could they do that!? Well, Wikipedia tells us, it’s called analogue cross-fading.

I took a screenshot of every cross-fade. The above GIF is all of the cross-fades put together in order, which, incidentally, ends with the same person who is at the start of the video. Here are all of those individual screenshots, some of which are really quite interesting:

Lucky Girl by Fazerdaze. Two days in a row for this one. I really really like the album, been listening to it a couple of times a day for the last week or so. Worth a listen if you’re in the mood for some indie-ness.
