3,372: [Name of drummer] + [First syllable of name of bass player]

with 3 comments

Listening to Fleetwood Mac the other day, I got to wondering what other rock bands would be called if they had named themselves in a similar fashion: surname of drummer + first syllable of surname of bass player.

Similar to McVie’s name being used as Mac not Mc for, I assume, phonetic clarity, I’ve done the same below. And I’ve also gone with the earliest classic line-up members, ignoring drummers or bass players that we wouldn’t automatically associate with the acts in question.

For “fun” I’ve not included the real band names here, I’ve put them in the comments so you it can be a game, should you desire to play it.
